I’m a licensed psychologist working at the intersection of mental health and performance in high-pressure environments.
My work is grounded in formal clinical training and shaped by real-world experience supporting athletes, professionals, and organizations where clarity, decision-making, and emotional regulation matter.
I work with individuals, teams, and organizations who take their crafts seriously and want psychological support that is thoughtful, precise, and effective.
Elite Mindspace reflects how I approach this work: intentional, grounded, and built for sustainability.
Hey, I’m Dr. Du.
Elite Mindspace
Elite Mindspace is a psychology and performance practice designed to support clarity, resilience, and high-level functioning.
The practice was created to advance work that goes beyond surface-level solutions, integrating evidence-based psychology, performance science, and applied experience in demanding environments.
While Elite Mindspace is currently led by a single clinician, it is built as an organization rather than a personality brand, with a focus on depth, quality, and long-term impact.
My work is shaped by formal doctoral training in counseling psychology and advanced preparation in sport and performance psychology, combined with licensure as a practicing clinical psychologist.
I use an integrative, evidence-based approach that draws from clinical psychology, performance science, mindfulness-based practices, and applied work within high-performance systems. The work begins with careful listening and structured assessment of the individual, team, or organizational context before any intervention or performance strategy is introduced.
My professional standards are grounded in clinical rigor, ethical practice, and long-term development. Whether working with athletes, leaders, or organizations, the focus is on building sustainable psychological skills, strengthening decision-making under pressure, and supporting performance without compromising well-being.
Professional Background & Approach
My work has been applied across collegiate, clinical, and organizational performance systems where psychological health and competitive demands intersect.
I currently serve in a leadership role within Division I athletics, directing and advancing a comprehensive sport psychology program that integrates clinical care, performance development, coach consultation, and the training and supervision of emerging clinicians.
My professional experience includes work within nationally competitive athletic programs and academic institutions across the United States, supporting athletes, coaches, and leadership staff in environments where performance standards, decision-making, and emotional regulation are central to long-term success.
Experience & Environments
Originally from South Vacherie, Louisiana, my perspective is shaped by a strong sense of culture, resilience, and community. Growing up in environments where relationships, presence, and personal responsibility mattered as much as achievement continues to inform how I approach both clinical work and performance settings.
I am a lifelong athlete and former collegiate football player at the University of Central Arkansas. Today, I train as a lifestyle athlete, maintaining a commitment to movement, strength, and recovery as part of a long-term approach to health and performance. This ongoing relationship with training keeps my work grounded in the lived realities of discipline, fatigue, adaptation, and consistency.
Alongside this, I am a photographer, using visual storytelling as a way to study attention, presence, and the subtle dynamics of how people experience pressure and connection in real-world environments.
I value environments where people are encouraged to think deeply, speak directly, and take responsibility for their growth. Whether in clinical settings, team spaces, or one-on-one work, I aim to create a tone that is calm, focused, and grounded — one that allows individuals to engage seriously with both performance and well-being without sacrificing either.
At the core of my work is a belief that excellence is built not only through intensity, but through consistency, reflection, and the ability to remain present in demanding moments. That principle shapes how I show up professionally and how I move through the world beyond the work itself.
